    Stan H. MacPherson, FCA, and Kathy McDonald joined the Holland College Board of Governors earlier this month, Ray Murphy, Chair of the board announced recently. Stan MacPherson has been a senior partner with MacPherson Roche Smith & Associates, Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants, since his company purchased the P.E.I. practice of Deloitte & Touche in 1995. As a member of the Holland College Board of Governors, he will sit on the Finance Committee. Kathy McDonald joined the PEI Department of Education in 2006 as Transitions Specialist after nearly twenty years of direct service to students in public education. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education degree from Mount Allison University, and a Master of Education degree from Saint Mary’s University. She will sit on the board’s program committee. Also appointed to the board are: faculty representatives Doris MacDonald and Gerald Caissy; and student representatives Landon Yuill and Marlene Simmons.
