Dr. Ralph Hazleton, Nobel Peace Prize nominee will deliver a free public talk followed by a discussion on “Resource Wars Are Upon Us” June 3 at the Murphy Community Center beginning at 7:30 pm. Dr. Hazleton will explore how global climate change and dwindling natural resources are combining to increase the likelihood of violent conflict over land, water, and energy and where no society, however affluent, will escape involvement in these kinds of conflict. This event is organized by the Island Peace Committee. 902-368-7337
