The National Ambassador Youth Forum (NAYF), a celebration of the Linguistic Duality, is headed for Prince Edward Island. The 14th edition of this annual event, held in a different city each year, will take place in Charlottetown from August 21–25 in partnership with the University of Prince Edward Island and the official support of Air Canada, the Honourable Margaret Norrie McCain, Le Collège de l'île, the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages, the University of Ottawa, RDÉE Île-du-Prince-Édouard, Carrefour de l'Isle-Saint-Jean and Francophonie Jeunesse de l'Alberta.
High school students, selected from across the country for their passion and commitment towards bilingualism, will experience a week filled with interactive workshops and fun and challenging activities in Charlottetown.
The NAYF is an unforgettable experience for these students who will go on to become leaders of bilingualism in Canada. The 2017 PEI Ambassador is Victoria Gibbs, a Grade 10 student from Charlottetown Rural High School.
