The Cymbria Lion Club, 2184 Church Rd., Rustico is hosting its 3rd annual Show & Shine car show on August 26. Lots of great cars will be displayed in a great venue. 2nd Annual Festival of Forests

Macphail Homestead, 269 Macphail Park Road, Orwell, 2–6 pm. Join the staff and friends of Macphail Woods for a day of celebration of Island forests. Activities for children will include face-painting, games, and arts and crafts. Local food will be available for sale and families are also encouraged to bring their own picnics.
