The Indian River Festival’s 2008 season’s line up will feature two special quartets/ensembles: Cantabile, from London England on July, 11 and Ensemble Caprice from Montreal on July 13.
Cantabile, often referred to as The London Quartet—quite simply is one of the world’s top vocal groups. They incorporate both comedy and the classics in their performances. Having entertained audiences with their unique blend of humour and harmony for the last eighteen years, they’ve made ten solo albums, performed over a thousand concerts and had more than two hundred TV appearances worldwide.
Ensemble Caprice is renowned for their innovative interpretations of baroque music. Originally they were formed in Germany in the 1980s and although they continue to perform in Europe and tour world wide they are now based in Montreal.
Both performances begin at 7:30 pm and tickets are now on sale—both online or by calling 902-836-4933.
