Trailside Café opens in June

The first performances at the Trailside Café in Mount Stewart in the 2008 Live at the Trailside music series are scheduled to take place in June.

Opening weekend will feature Island singer-songwriters Brooke Miller (June 6) and Catherine MacLellan (June 7). The following weekend will see the return of Maritime rock legend, Matt Minglewood as well as rising East coast music star David Myles. Garnet Rogers, well-known Canadian musician, will be back for four nights in late June.

Also confirmed for this season are Rose Cousins, Gordie Sampson, Ron Hynes, Nathan Wiley and, new to this stage for this year, Andrew White. Performances will be held on most weekends until mid-October, as well as on other selected dates in July and August.

Evening shows are held from 8–10 pm.
