  • A Taste of Honey

You enjoyed the movie Juno? Come and see A Taste Of Honey. This play by Shelagh Delaney will be staged by Broken Leg Act from Nova Scotia at The Guild, in Charlottetown at 8 pm on May 9 and 10. Why does Jo get pregnant at 17? Why does her single mother Helen leave her alone at Christmas? What do they owe each other? What choice of man will take care of them? They joke their way through searching for love and security at the same time. Shelagh Delaney wrote this play, which mirrors the movie so closely, when she was only 18. With it she won two national awards, the sale of film rights and international productions.

A Taste of Honey plays for two nights only, May 9 and 10 , at The Guild. Show time is 8 pm.
