School Calendar Changes

Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Alan McIsaac announced a new school calendar for the 2014-2015 school year, as part of a series of initiatives to support student achievement. The restructured calendar includes 2 more school days, no change in instructional days, fewer short weeks, and additional days for embedded professional learning.

Water Safety Day Camps

Organizers at Crapaud Community Hall are seeking musical groups interested in participating in a performance partnership. A new Vital Statistics website serves as a focal point for people who are looking to apply for services such as birth, marriage and death certificates. Info on how to access these services is provided as well as answers to the public’s most frequent questions on vital event registrations.

Recycled Book Exhibition

Colonel Gray students have spent several weeks of the new semester taking old and unwanted books, and recreating them into notebooks. The majority of these books have been donated by The Bookman and currently are on display there at 177 Queen St, Charlottetown.

Air Canada's enRoute , in partnership with Rickard's, is on the hunt for Canada's favourite bar. Baba's Lounge and Hunter's Ale House in Charlottetown have both been selected by a national panel. You can cast your vote at www.saycheers.ca.
