Island filmmaker Mille Clarkes has been shortedlisted at the 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards (in the Lyrical category) for her Film "December in Toronto." Now it's up to voters to decide. You can vote once a day at by going to vimeo.com/awards/vote/lyrical.

The festival, which takes place in June, was created to "recognize videos online by how they moved people and helped see deeper into the world."

PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation has transformed an old medium, the picture postcard, into a new format: the online photo-sharing program, Flickr. Over 500 historic postcard images from the Provincial Collection spanning communities across PEI can be viewed. Many of the postcards date from the early 1900s and continue as late as the ’70s and ’80s.
