Charlottetown Festival 2012 Season
Ring of Fire and Kitchen Witches are new; Anne and Come-All-Ye are back

(photo: ©pixbylorne) The Charlottetown Festival runs June to September at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

One of this season’s new shows pays tribute to the legendary man in black with, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash. It plays selected dates June 20 to September 29 in the Homburg Theatre.

Anne of Green Gables—The Musical™ returns for its 47th year in the “re-imagined” production first mounted in 2011. Canada’s longest running musical plays selected dates July 3 to September 26 in the Homburg Theatre.

Come-All-Ye, the show that celebrates the “real” PEI experience, is back. Host and comedian Patrick Ledwell presents his take on Island life, along with Island musicians singing new songs and telliling new stories. Come-All-Ye plays The Mack on selected dates July 5 to September 1.

It’s a comedy about two cooking show rivals who do their best to upstage each other. The Kitchen Witches plays selected dates July 14 to September 15.
