    Angels of the Maritimes is an array of angel stories from people across the Maritime Provinces. Ever wonder how to connect with your angels? Following each story is Karen gives angelic information to assist you in connecting with your own angels. Karen says the book is inspired by her own spiritual growth which went from believing in angels to learning to connect with them in her everyday life. Karen shares her spiritual journey from carrying a C-7 rifle as a soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces to working with “a shield of light.”
    Karen Forrest, BN, ATP, CD, Angel Therapy Practitioner (certified by world-Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.), has received extensive spiritual training. With a vision of assisting people to personally connect with their angels in honouring their life purpose, Karen offers private angel/medium and workshops though her practice, Words of Wisdom Counselling.     Hillsborough River Tidings

    In early May, the Hillsborough River Association will release the spring issue of the Hillsborough Tidings newsletter. This Tidings features a story by Georges Arsenault and Douglas Sobey on the place names and Acadian family names on the 1730 map of the Hillsborough River indicating the present names of these places. The newsletter will provide the events line-up for the 2nd Annual Bald Eagle Festival which will be held on June 14 and 15 at the Hillsborough River Eco-Centre in Mount Stewart, seek some of the missing names th for a picture of a large group of workers on Charlottetown’s waterfront in the 1930s, provide an update on some of the achievements identified in the Canadian Heritage River 10 Year Monitoring Report, and more.
