The Pourhouse

(photo: Darrell Theriault)The Charlottetown Jazz Ensemble will be making regular winter appearances at The Pourhouse, upstairs at the Old Triangle on Great George Street, Charlottetown. The band will perform on the third Tuesday of each winter month. The next show will be held April 18.

Now in its 21st year of operation, the 20-member Charlottetown Jazz Ensemble is PEI’s only community big band, performing an eclectic mix of contemporary charts and classic standards in addition to tunes composed or arranged by band members. The band boasts many of PEI’s busiest musicians ranging from UPEI music majors to professional musicians with decades of performing experience.

Pourhouse concerts will begin at 7 pm and will be all-ages (with adult accompaniment). Meals will be available and doors will open at 6 for dining.
