Piano recital by Sarah Hagen at St. Paul’s

January 19
St. Paul's Church

Pianist Sarah Hagen Pianist Sarah Hagen presents “A Little Retreat of Night Music” at St. Paul’s Church in Charlottetown on January 19 at 8 pm.

In the spirit of the month of Mental Wellness, Hagen invites people yearning for a quietly magical evening to come for an hour of carefully curated music by Bach, Mozart, Chopin, and others. Not your ordinary classical music event, the performance will have audience members enter and depart in silence, and the music will flow from one piece to the next without pause or applause. Music will begin at 8 pm, and admission is pay-what-you-will at the door. St. Paul’s Church is located at the corner of Prince and Grafton streets Street in Charlottetown.

Recently named as Ontario Contact’s 2017 Artist of the Year, and before that as the British Columbia Touring Council’s 2015 Artist of the Year, Hagen says that she is delighted to join the Department of Music in the Faculty of Arts at UPEI.
