Children’s entertainer comes to Summerside

February 28
Harbourfront Theatre

Norman FooteInternationally renowned children’s entertainer Norman Foote will take the Habourfront stage in Summerside February 28 at 6:30 pm.

Norman Foote’s passion for music and comedy takes him throughout the world, and this February he comes to Summerside. His concert is an engaging experience featuring “Foote” classics and songs from his JUNO award-winning album Love My New Shirt and of course appearances from his many live action props/puppets. Foote’s music has received Parent Choice & Nappa Gold Awards in the US and in Canada. He has gathered millions of fans, both big and small, throughout the world and created a special niche for himself in the entertainment world.

“Norman Foote is a rare gem in the children’s entertainment field,” says Kieran Keller, Harbourfront’s Executive Director. “It’s exciting for us to welcome him to our stage, and we love that we can make his performance a pay-what-it’s-worth show so that it is accessible to all island families.”

“Pay-What-It’s-Worth” shows allow families to reserve their tickets before the show for no up-front cost,” explains Keller. “After they see the show, they then get to decide what they pay for their tickets. This format really opens the theatre up to everyone. There are no barriers for children to come and experience the performing arts this way, and that is very important to us at Harbourfront.”

This tour is part of the Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) and RADARTS' Canada 150 Performance Series. Atlantic Presenters Association, RADARTS and Harbourfront Theatre gratefully acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada for this series.
