Hospice PEI’s event celebrates 7th year

October 20
Murphy Community Centre

October 20, 2018 is a big day for Hospice PEI. It marks the 7th Annual Hospice PEI’s Dancing with the Stars, a signature event for the organization. The event brings together local well known Islanders (stars) with local professional dancers (pros), for a night of fun, dancing, and fundraising. The event will begin at 6:30 pm at Murphy Community Centre in Charlottetown.

This year's stars are Jeff Cooke, Cora Lee Dunbar, Pamela Large Moran, Nils Ling, Kirstin Lund, Nicole MacPherson and Brenda Springer. The pros donating their time are Julie Higdon MacIsaac, Susan Lessard, Rejean Lessard, Gordon Matthews, Anna Keenan and Rod Weatherbie.

Tickets for the event are available by calling 902-368-4498. People can vote for their favourite star. Every $1 donated counts as 1 vote. The star with the most votes at the end the night on October 20 will win the “People’s Choice Award.” Visit Hospice PEI’s Dancing with the Stars website for more information.
