Norah Pendergast will show her paintings at Timothy’s Cafe in Charlottetown until May 10. The show is organized by Carrefour de L’Île St. Jean, in collaboration with Timothy’s, as part of their Francophone Fridays activities. This is her first solo show.
Norah is a teacher and multi-disciplinary artist from Charlottetown. She works in photography, digital art, and acrylic painting. Her work documents her experience of the human condition.
She has been part of numerous group shows with Peake Street Collective, this town is small, and The Visual Arts Teacher’s Association of Prince Edward Island. As a teacher of arts, social studies, and languages, she has facilitated large scale student art exhibitions through PEI Drama Festivals and ArtSmarts programs, as well as in the Francophone community.
