This town is small inc. has announced a professional development and capacity building project aimed to support arts executives, and their executives in training, on PEI.
This town is small has contracted Becka Viau & Associates who will be providing free, one on one peer mentorship consultations as well as coordinating a series of professional development lunch and learns and community building sessions later this fall and winter. More details will be announced this summer.
The goal of the project is to provide opportunities for Island arts executives to network, share knowledge and participate in professional development sessions. Many cultural organizations on PEI are seeking to succession from one executive to another, or have recently hired a new executive, and this project will be a great way to increase the knowledge of emerging arts executives. It will also be an opportunity for long lasting executives to connect with others and learn from a series of invited guest speakers during the lunch and learn sessions.
