The Parkman Ave Residency Program is an artist-in-residence program at Copper Bottom Brewing in partnership with this town is small inc., PEI’s Artist-Run Centre, and supported by Innovation PEI through the PEI Culture Action Plan.
This is a 1-week, self-directed residency open to professional artists working in any media who reside in PEI. As the residency takes place in a brewery, artists must be 19+ to apply. This program has a community engagement component and selected artists agree to present either a public artist talk or a workshop at the completion of the residency.
There are two 1-week residency blocks available. The program will run during the month of November 2018.
Deadline to apply is July 13, 2018.
Selected artists will be given a stipend of $1000 for the 1-week residency, studio space at Copper Bottom Brewing, lodging in the town of Montague, support for community interaction and networking, administrative support for organizing artist talks and workshops, and access to curatorial feedback upon request. Food, travel costs, and art materials are not provided.
