Artist and artisan gallery opens for its sixth season

As you drive along Souris’ Main Street, you’ll see a historic building that is home to creative local talent.

Inside you’ll find paintings, pottery, jewelry, fiber art, greeting cards, prints, glassware, quilts, knitted and crocheted goods, and more—handmade by local artisans and artists of all ages.

Coffee and daily baked goods prepared by the Harborview Training Centre residents are on sale.

The shop is artist-run, so it is not uncommon to walk in to find an artist working on a new creative piece and ready to answer questions about their craft. Workshops are offered and information is available on the website and Facebook page.

Artisans on Main Souris is at 120 Main Street in Souris and is open to October. For information call 902-327-0441, visit www.sourisartisans.com, or check FB ArtisansOnMainSouris.
