Peter the Sandpiper (detail), felt art by B.B. GunnEbb and Flow PEI is a new locally owned speciality gift shop located in the same parking lot as Holy Cow Restaurant at 7788 St. Peters Highway, Morell.

The shop specializes in one-of-a-kind custom framed fine felt wool art made live in-shop and offers walk-in workshops daily Wednesday to Saturday.

B.B. Gunn is the primary in-shop fine felt artist and is a juried member of the PEI Crafts Council. She works with natural fibres such as organic merino wool, virgin sheep wool, bamboo, alpaca, buffalo fur, angora and silk to create her wool art.

“Working with natural fibres is so therapeutic! With fine felt, I can achieve texture, vibrancy, and depth that I cannot get with other mediums. Once the final embellishments are added, I then make a custom frame that perfectly complements each piece, resulting in a 100% sustainable organic product that is truly magical. Some women buy shoes—I buy wool,” says B.B.Gunn.

Other artisans represented in the shop include: Marilyn Maclean, Robert McMillan and Island Stoneware with their pottery; Elmorphic Jewelry; Virginia of Scotchford Micmac Arts; Reach Foundation soaps; Elsie Morell’s stained glass; Paul Lucas book author; Lydia Morgan’s photography; Jolene Gallant’s beach stone art.
