Michelle Andrews PEI French Health Network’s latest Étoile Santé is nurse Michelle Andrews. Michelle Andrews works at the Western Hospital in Alberton, where she loves having the opportunity to speak French. This quality is part of the assets she brings to the table when on duty at Western Hospital’s emergency department. During one of Michelle’s night shifts, a local resident who was taking care of her grandson decided to take him to the emergency department in Alberton after he suffered a health problem. “I immediately saw that they were Francophones, and I know that being able to speak French to me came as a big relief to the grandmother,” recalls Michelle. To show her appreciation for the quality services delivered by the nurse, the grandmother submitted Michelle’s name to the Étoile Santé campaign.
