Students, parents, educators and community leaders gathered recently in Rollo Bay to officially open the new École La-Belle-Cloche and Pavillon de l’Est. Located on the site of the former Rollo Bay school, the facility houses a provincial Early Years Centre, a K-12 school for up to 150 students, and community meeting space. Construction of the 45,000 square foot facility was supported by funding of $6.7 million from the provincial government and $2.4 million from the federal government. The community component of the facility, Pavillon de l’Est, offers meeting spaces, theatre, and kitchen facilities to host French cultural activities.
