Several artists from Prince Edward Island have received 2018 JUNO Award nominations.

Rose Cousins (photo: Vanessa Heins)The East Pointers, featuring Koady Chaisson, Tim Chaisson and Jake Charron, are nominated for Traditional Roots Album of the Year for their album What We Leave Behind. Rose Cousins is nominated for Songwriter of the Year for "Chosen" and "Grace" co-written with Mark Erelli, and "White Flag" co-written with KS Rhoads, from her album Natural Conclusion. Alvvays is nominated for Group of the Year. The band features Molly Rankin, Kerri MacLellan, and Islanders Alec O’Hanley, Brian Murphy and Phil MacIsaac.

The 47th annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2018 will be held in Vancouver, BC from March 19–25. CBC will broadcast the 2018 JUNO Awards live on March 25 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET via CBC, CBC Radio, and online at CBCMusic.ca.
