Slack Royalty single set for February 27th release

Slack Royalty—Calm Baretta

Calm Baretta is a 4-piece alternative indie rock band from Charlottetown, consisting of members of Dylan Menzie, Liam Corcoran Band, Coyote and Sorrey. Their debut single entitled "Chilly Bones" received a Music PEI Award nomination for Song of the Year.

Band members Josh Carter, Laura Oakie, Nigel Haan, and Matt Bridges, describe their sound as 80's pop with a modern twist. Think A-ha! meets the War on Drugs. They are following up their debut release with a new single called "Slack Royalty" set for a February 27th release. Find it on Itunes, Spotify, Googleplay, bandcamp, and Soundcloud

Calm Baretta will hold a release show on March 3 at the Sportsman’s Club in Charlottetown with guests The Brood (Halifax) and DJ Ugly James Franco (Colin Buchanan).

Calm Baretta"Slack Royalty" was produced, recorded and engineered by John Mullane in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 25, 2017 and was mixed by Nick Fowler.
