ECMA-nominated podcast East of the Dial has debuted its Season 1. Since 2015, radio DJs Joee Adams and Chris Pride have spearheaded a side project intended to give Canada’s independent artists a spotlight. Originally starting out as a weekly-ish podcast focusing solely on East coast, the show has now been reinvented with a renewed sense of purpose, vigor and things of that nature.

“The idea was to record a series of episodes and release them all together. That way listeners can literally binge listen to every episode in a day if they want. Who doesn’t like bingeing things?” says Pride, a morning radio show host in Charlottetown, PEI—a job that both he and Adams do on separate stations.

The new series, dubbed East of the Dial: Season 1 (which technically speaking would be Season 3 considering they’ve already released nearly 100 episodes since 2015), is 8 episodes long, and slated to be released all at once. The added wrinkle? The gingered hosts play music and interview independent musicians from across Canada.

The full season is now available. East of the Dial can be streamed or downloaded on iTunes, Google Play, Tune In Radio, Soundcloud and at
