Lennie Gallant’s first single from the new recording Time Travel has been released. “Selkie” celebrates the longest Blood Moon of the Century which occurred July 27. “There is something about a Blood Moon that I always find very mysterious and evocative. It plays a strong role in this song as I linked it to the Celtic legend of the Selkie: The mermaid figure that sheds its skin to become human for the sake of love. On this track you can hear  Mary Jane Lamond, singing in Gaelic giving the song an ageless depth as she calls out ‘From the Sea I come to find you.’ The Fretless add some haunting strings to aptly set the scene for this Blood Moon sojourn.”—Lennie Gallant

Time Travel is produced by Islander Daniel Ledwell.
