Lennie Gallant, Ensemble Made in Canada, Jenni & the Hummingbird with Atlantic String Machine

Ensemble Made in CanadaRemaining concerts of the Indian River Festival at St. Mary’s Church in Indian River include Lennie Gallant, Jenni & the Hummingbird, Atlantic String Machine and Ensemble Made in Canada.

“The season is not over yet and you still have the chance to experience Indian River Festival and hear some incredible artists perform in Historic St. Mary’s,” says Don Quarles, Executive Director of the festival. “We also have our 8th annual Harvest/SoupFest, in partnership with Fall Halls featuring Jenni & the Hummingbird with Atlantic String Machine.”

The Harvest/Soupfest fundraiser is happening September 9 at 1 pm. Soups will be made available with the support from local restaurants including The Table, Open Eats, Broadway 45, Island Stone Pub—Kensington Station, Samuel’s Coffee House, Breakwater Bar and Grill, Ship to Shore and fresh rolls from Water Street bakery and will take place in the pavilion. Music will feature Jenni and the Hummingbird with the Atlantic String Machine. This event sells out so get tickets soon.

Coming up at Indian River Festival on August 31 at 7:30 pm is Lennie Gallant’s CD release concert. On September 9 at 1 pm the 8th Annual Harvest/ SoupFest Fundraiser takes place. And on September 16 at 3 pm hear Ensemble Made in Canada—Mosaïque.

Doors open one hour prior to concert time and food and beverage is available for purchase in the pavilion, including Handpies from the PEI Handpie Company, Samuel’s Coffee, Upstreet Brewing beer, cookies from Crystal Green Farms and IRF’s famous Strawberry Shortcake.
