A Charlottetown alt. country band known as “slung” has released its first album, Superfecta. The band consists of Murray Murphy (guitars and vocals), Hans Connor (bass, harmonica and vocals), Brad Trivers (mandolin), Ted Simmons (banjo) and Jason “Gus” MacKinnon (drums).

The album contains 10 original songs penned by Murphy and Connor. The two have played together for about seventeen years,
