Three well-known island filmmakers, currently living in Toronto, have reached the TOP 15 in Cineplex’s Canada-wide Million Dollar Cinecoup Accelerator competition with their feature comedy John Goes to the Olympics. For writer/director Dominique Girouard, and producers Micah Martin and Jarren Richards, the goal is nothing less than a 1st place finish, and a limited release in Cinepelex theatres across the country. The winner will be announced at the Banff World Media Festival on June 8.Dom, Micah, and Jarren grew up in Charlottetown, and have been producing original Canadian comedy out of Toronto since 2011.
