A new CBC TV series and online project “Keeping Canada Safe” gives viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a day in the life of several PEI residents who keep the province safe. A Kensington police chief and his team uncover violations during a roadside stop-check. That show aired March 16 on CBC. In Summerside, mothers and Search and Rescue volunteers work together to help ensure that loved ones who may be prone to wandering never get lost again. See that video at www.cbc.ca/keepingcanadasafe. The eight part series airs on CBC Thursdays at 9 pm. www.cbc.ca/keepingcanadasafe
