On location for Just Passing Through, a comedy web series currently being shot on PEI. The story revolves around the relationship of Owen Stephens and Terry and Parnell Gallant; rough and tumble cousins from PEI who arrive unannounced on Owen's Toronto doorstep. 2013 marks the fourth year of The Island Media Arts Festival—what organizers say is the largest and most popular celebration of local and Atlantic-region films, videos, documentaries, animation and music videos on the Island. Videos by Cassie Doiron of Gulf Shore Consolidated and Sydney Rennie of Alberton Elementary have been selected as finalists in a national competition sponsored by Canada’s History Society. At the 2012 Provincial Heritage Fair 12 finalists were selected to create videos based on their project themes.
