Just Passing Through Now Shooting

On location for Just Passing Through, a comedy web series currently being shot on PEI. The story revolves around the relationship of Owen Stephens and Terry and Parnell Gallant; rough and tumble cousins from PEI who arrive unannounced on Owen's Toronto doorstep. They swear they're “just passing through” Toronto to sweet jobs in Alberta. But like every family reunion, this one turns out to be more than Owen’s bargained for. Coming May 2013.

Island Media Arts Festival 2013 Launches

2013 marks the fourth year of The Island Media Arts Festival—what organizers say is the largest and most popular celebration of local and Atlantic-region films, videos, documentaries, animation and music videos on the Island. The festival is organized by IMAC—The Island Media Arts Cooperative—an association of media artists founded in 1978.

Radio Dramas by Clothesline Theatre

Radio dramas performed live over the airwaves were once an anticipated source of entertainment for Canadians. Wyatt Heritage Properties Inc. and Culture Summerside have joined forces to create radio dramas that bring local history alive. They have created Clothesline Theatre which now has completed twenty of the dramas.

Videos by Cassie Doiron of Gulf Shore Consolidated and Sydney Rennie of Alberton Elementary have been selected as finalists in a national competition sponsored by Canada’s History Society. At the 2012 Provincial Heritage Fair 12 finalists were selected to create videos based on their project themes.
