Charlottetown’s Periscope Pictures has shot their second feature length film, written and directed by Harmony Wagner. Singing To Myself tells the story of Iris, a young deaf woman, who decides to forsake the world, but soon learns that life, and love, cannot be silenced.

Canadian production company Breakthrough Entertainment and American public broadcaster PBS recently announced a broadcast deal that will bring the newly completed two-hour film of L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables to North American audiences. Anne of Green Gables will be broadcast on PBS stations on November 24 at 8 pm ET as a Thanksgiving family television event.
