The Old TriangleOpened in May 2009 by Paul and Jill Mansour, The Old Triangle is traditional Irish alehouse setting in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. The Pourhouse, located upstairs, offers a second level of entertainment ideal for special events and private bookings. Abiding by the motto: “Food for the Body, Drink for the Spirit, and Music for the Soul” The Old Triangle serves up tasty traditional dishes and authentic Irish ales while offering a year-round schedule of musical entertainment for a broad range of audiences. The Old Triangle hosts live local music every weekend, free of cover and on Sunday afternoons is the home of the popular Irish-style sessions hosted by fiddler Roy Johnstone (Owner Paul Mansour is known to bring his fiddle to these sessions) An official venue for the 2011 ECMAs in Charlottetown, the Old Triangle is happy to once again host several official ECMW stages including Island Jazz Night, Traditional East Coast Music Showcase Ceilidh, The Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival Showcase, The Folk and Roots Stage and Awards Presentations, and the Music Nova Scotia Stage.
