The Kings Playhouse has also announced major upgrades to the theatre that include new stage curtains and sound-dampening panels in the hall. Two new staff members have joined the team at the Playhouse. Catherine O’Brien, interim executive director, brings with her years of experience in professional theatre. This year marketing and communications will be looked after by Julia Cook, who is hired through the Theatre Mentorship Program.
