Selena Coffin wins in Montreal

Selena Coffin, an 11-year-old dancer from Havenwood Dance Studio, Charlottetown, recently captured Gold in her tap solo division at the 5678 Showtime’s Dance World Cup event held in Montreal.  Selena was the only dancer from PEI to attend the Nationals as well that took place in Mont Tremblant before the DWC in July. Selena had 3 solo dances and she placed 1st with her traditional step dance in the Folkloric solo category and her tap solo placed 2nd. Selena is a member of Havenwoood Dance Studio’s Dance Company troupe under the direction of Michelle Banks. She is the daughter of Sarah and Jamie Coffin.
