Watermark Theatre Mentorship Project continues to train young theatre artists headed for careers in the theatre. This season, experienced professionals will train interns in the following departments: stage management, scenic art/properties, wardrobe, carpentry/tech, and arts administration.

ACT Auditions

ACT (a community theatre) is holding auditions on January 6 for Skin Flick, a Norm Foster comedy that will hit the stage in April. This show features three men and two women, with all roles being close to equal size. The roles as written range from 20-50. Auditioners are welcome (but not required) to prepare a short comedic monologue, though all will be asked to read selections from the script.

The Murray Players presented their production of the melodrama The Plight Before Christmas, by Fred J Cusick and Diane Moore, at the Murray River Community Hall in late November. This play is a spoof on Dickens; Scrooge set in El Paso Texas in the latter part of the 1800s.
