Program registration now open

The City of Charlottetown and go!PEI, through the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Foundation, will be offering another year of the “I Love to Skate” Program. This free program is an Island-wide, winter activity designed to encourage all children to be more active and learn the fundamentals of skating. Registration for the I Love to Skate! United Way submissions

The United Way of PEI is accepting submissions for the Island Food Security Grant Program, which is made possible due to the success of the 2018 PEI Burger Love Campaign and the 29 restaurants that supported the Give Back Burger. The Give Back Burger initiative saw participating restaurants donate $1 for each burger sold in April 2018 to the United Way, raising over $59,000 to support programs

WCB recognizes students

The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) recognizes high school students from across PEI who participated in this year’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Leadership Program. 24 students from 10 English schools and 2 French schools successfully completed this year’s program, which ran from October–May.
