Grief Support Drop-in Group

A Grief Support Drop-in Group meets the third Thursday of each month from 7–8 pm at Provincial Palliative Care Centre, 93 Murchison Lane, Charlottetown. This on-going facilitated grief and grieving support group is for all Islanders—family, extended family, friends—who have experienced loss. There will be monthly talks on topics of interest, and refreshments will be served. Info: Blanche at 902-368-4347 or Willard at 902-368-4064.

Montague mental health clinic

A new mental health walk-in clinic in Montague at the Community Mental Health Office (126 Douses Rd) is open Thursdays from 4–8 pm to help Islanders dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. healthpei.ca/mentalhealth, 1-800-218-2885.

Sunday life drawing sessions

Sunday life drawing sessions with live nude model are held Sundays from 2–4 pm at the Gertrude Cotton Art Centre, Stratford (57 Bunbury Rd). All skill levels are welcome. Easels are provided but bring your own drawing materials. Age 18+ or parent’s permission.

Salt Spring National Art Prize invites Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada to submit their two- and three-dimensional work for consideration.
