December 16 & 17
The Guild

The Guild Music Theatre School is presenting two shows in one: Jingle Jury and Elfis and the Frozen Princess. They take place December 16 and 17 at 4 pm.

In Jingle Jury, the Candy Cane Courthouse is now in session, and your audience is the jury. The defendant, young Jim Dandy, has called Christmas spirit “a lot of nonsense,” but that won’t fly in the Christmas court of justice. In comes a colorful parade of Christmas personalities, including reindeer-in-training, an angel from atop a Christmas tree, wise men, and holiday shoppers, all trying to prove Jim wrong. Jim tries to defend himself, but it’s hard when even Mrs. Cratchit and Tiny Tim make an appearance. It’s up to the Toy Maker to discover why Jim is acting so strangely..

In Elfis and the Frozen Princess everyone in the village of Icebergia is shivering with excitement when they hear that the Arctic renowned band Elfis and The Sleigh Riders is coming to perform at the Snowflake Festival. The King and Queen have invited everyone in the Kingdom of Frozonia to attend, including all the princesses who live in the land. All except one—The Abominable Snow Princess. Oversight or a deliberate act of omission? No matter—an affront is an affront. However, a gentle song might thaw the frozen heart of a scorned princess.
