Village musical acadien in Abram-Village
December 14, 17 & 31
The Village musical acadien in Abram-Village will be celebrating the holidays with four activities under the “Festival des fêtes.”
This Festival host the final French dinner-theatre show titled Le Mariage d’Élizabeth on December 14 at 6:30 pm. This comedy is about a grandmother who wishes to see her still single granddaughter find a husband and get married during the coming holidays. Therefore, she recruits a couple of her friends and secretly they organize a few dates for the granddaughter with some young single men of the community. The play will end with a musical Christmas party and maybe a wedding? You’ll have to come and see how it turns out. Throughout the evening, a homemade vegetable soup, a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and a homemade apple pie will be served.
The Village musical acadien has been presenting a Christmas concert for the whole family for the past few years. This year, it will feature the Jos Narcisse family accompanied by a house band composed of local artists Louise Arsenault, Jonathan Arsenault, Hèlène Bergeron and Shane Arsenault. This concert, titled Christmas Memories, will be held on December 17 at 7 pm. Stormdate is the following day, Monday at the same time.
Lastly, the Village musical acadien will host a New Year’s Eve Party featuring a dance to the music of Misty Water beginning at 10 pm and an all you can eat finger food buffet served from 10:00 to 11:30 pm. Doors to this evening will open at 9 pm.
