The PEI French Health Network (PEIFHN) will award two $1,500 bursaries to PEI Francophone or Francophile students enrolled in a post-secondary health program for 2018–2019.

Students who register in the PEIFHN health student database become eligible to win one of the two $1,500 bursaries. One bursaries will be awarded to a 1st-year student starting a program in the field of health in a post-secondary institution in the 2018–2019 academic year. The other will be awarded to a student who has started a post-secondary program in the field of health and will continue in 2018–2019. The Health Network shares its list of bilingual students with the Dept of Health and Wellness’s Recruitment and Retention Secretariat, which informs students of training and employment opportunities in the province.

Students have until May 31 to fill out the short participation form on the Health Network’s Website at (Étudiants en santé button). To be eligible, the student must be a permanent resident of PEI (hold a PEI health card; those who have a health card because of a student visa are not eligible), be registered in a post-secondary health program (French or English), be fluent in French, and accept to be added to the database.
