The Lady's Slipper Needle Arts Guild (LSNAG) is hosting the Embroiderers Association of Canada Inc. (EAC) National Seminar: Bridging Stitches from July 17–22, 2018.
The internationally acclaimed instructors are from Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and United States. Tanya Berlin, Allison Cole, Jeanette Douglas and Kathryn Diuguid to name a few, will be joined by Jenny Adin-Christie, who is noted for her embroidery work on Kate Middleton's wedding gown. The week long seminar is held at UPEI.
Members’ Exhibition: Embroiderers’ Association of Canada, a show of more than 100 stitched pieces takes place July 18 to 21 at Andrews Building #19, UPEI, 550 University Ave, Charlottetown. There are shopping opportunities for embroidery supplies and accessories. Stitcher’s Boutique will be open and the Merchant Mall will be open on July 19, 6 to 9 pm. Hours are: July 18, 2 to 7 pm; July 19, 11 am to 9 pm; July 20, 11 am to 7 pm; and July 21, 8 am to 5 pm.
