Playing with Choir: Fall Term 2018

Playing with Choir is an opportunity to come together in a large group to learn simple 3 part harmonies for popular songs of today and past decades and belt them out for the simple joy of singing. No auditions, no solos, no stars, just fun.

Sexual health walk-in clinic

A sexual health walk-in clinic will offer Islanders another way to access sexual health services, including testing.

Health PEI will run a free monthly sexual health walk-in clinic that will offer services including sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection testing. No appointment is required and individuals will be seen by a nurse practitioner or registered nurse.

Mayor's Newcomer Welcome Reception

The Mayor’s Newcomer Welcome Reception will provide an opportunity to visit Charlottetown City Hall and meet the Mayor and Council members, as well as other newcomers, in a comfortable, informal setting. The reception will be held October 11 from 5–7 pm at City Hall, 199 Queen Street.

This event is free and open to all new residents who live or work in Charlottetown. Registration is not required for the Mayor’s Newcomer Welcome Reception.

Kindred Spirits Quilt Guild

PEERS Alliance, in partnership with Holland College, UPEI, and Women's Network PEI will hold LGBTQ2+ adult drop ins for those interested in meeting others from the LGBTQ2+ community or who would like to get involved and share information. Grief Support Drop-in Group

A Grief Support Drop-in Group meets the third Thursday of each month from 7–8 pm at Provincial Palliative Care Centre, 93 Murchison Lane, Charlottetown. This on-going facilitated grief and grieving support group is for all Islanders—family, extended family, friends—who have experienced loss.
