The Ring Of Fire: A Johnny Cash Experience

Ellerslie Legion

Thursday, August 30, 2018, 08:00pm - 10:00pm

The Ring of Fire: A Johnny Cash Experience is coming to the Ellerslie Legion on August 30 from 8–10 pm.

Produced and presented by 4 Seasons LIVE Entertainement, the show stars Andy Vickers as "Young Cash" with Dave Pearson on lead guitar, Joey DePaiva on bass guitar, and Dave Johnson on drums.

WS "Fluke" Holland, 40 year bandmate and only drummer for Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Three says, "We have the opportunity to work with some very fine Johnny Cash tribute bands and artists in several countries. There are some of these artists that preserve the legacy of John with a sincere dedication that simply stands out above the rest. The Ring of Fire: A Johnny Cash Experience from Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) is one such band. Featuring Andy Vickers on lead vocals, this band brings back so many memories to me of my nearly 4 decades of working side by side with Johnny Cash. Their dedication to John's music and legacy is a brilliant testimony that comes across with their amazing respect to honoring The Man in Black. If you are a Johnny Cash & The Tennessee 3 fan do yourself a favor and check out The Ring of Fire: A Johhny Cash Experience with Andy Vickers. If you want to see the real deal....look no further, they are certainly it."

The Ring of Fire band is currently on tour across Canada to specifically support Royal Canadian Legions and bring awareness of the importance of Legions and the community benefits they offer to Veterans and their families. Every year 11 Branches close their doors forever due to lack of funding and support. The band and their manager are Royal Canadian Legion members and their mission is to prevent any more Legions from shutting down by encouraging new membership. Visit to sign up.

Tickets available at, the Legion Hall or from the band's manager, Julie Filion, at 613-816-2565.
