Down With Demon Rum: Stories and Songs of Rum Running on Prince Edward Island will be presented September 9, 16, 23, and 30 at The Haviland Club at 2 Haviland Street in Charlottetown.

The show is written by and stars Hank and Rowena Stinson. Hank Stinson has been active as an actor and in theatre since 1969. He has worked with Stratford Festival, The Charlottetown Festival, Theatre New Brunswick, Neptune Theatre, has performed in Anne and Gilbert, volunteered with Theatre PEI, and toured productions with Young at Heart Theatre Company. Rowena has also been active in the PEI theatre scene.

Doors open a 5 pm for the show and a fisherman’s supper beginning at 5:30 pm. Enjoy a meal of fish cakes, beans and dessert.
